Audit Tweakers.net Technology (HBO/Universitair) - VNU Media, Amsterdam

Motivation:
Because of various changes within the Technology team and in different technology areas,
like:
- Infrastructure hardware increased;
- Increase in FTE number;
- Implementation of the SCRUM methodology;
- Creating a Disaster Recovery location;
- New procedures have been implemented and old procedures changed, like:
� Change Management;
� Release procedures;
� Backup procedures ;
� Service Level Agreement.

Objective:
As Tweakers Technology Manager, I like to make sure that we:
- Become a more competitive business;
- Aligned the IT strategy with the overall business strategy;
- Manage and reducing (security, personal) risks;
- Manage and reducing costs;
- Faster time to implement changes;
- Improved reliability and availability;
- Become more robust and efficient;
- Become more durable and Sustainable;
- Continual Improvement built into the processes;
- Possibility of benchmarking almost all our processes.

Method:
To achieve the objective a research structure should be defined, after the research structure is defined a research model should be chosen. Where we need a structure e.g.:
- ITIL;
- ISO20000-2, ISO20000-1;
- NEN7510;
- IEC38500;
- IEC27000;
- MOF.
Currently we are in the phase that we have in-house procedures and we have
some procedure in the process definition phase. We now have to step up to make sure we achieve the objective asap.

Environment:
As a graduate or trainee you will be the internalaudit authority of the Technology Department.

You will be part of the Technology Team and report to the Manager Technology. Your deliverable will be:
- An audit management summary;
- Outline of your research model on our internal Wiki;
- All documents will be written in English.
